Cheer Prep at Rise is one of our most sought-after programs. Year after year, we are honored to send 100+ athletes to try out from junior high to the D1 collegiate level. We have cheerleaders from our Prep program cheering at colleges all over the country. We absolutely love getting to prepare young athletes for tryouts and real life.
These classes take place in our beautiful RISE Cheer gym that is outfitted with a nine-lane competition spring floor (the exact floor used at Daytona), a tumble track, and dead matt tumbling surface. Our prep program focuses not just on tumbling, but cheer tumbling done correctly. Because cheerleaders tumble on harder surfaces often, we are very picky about how they tumble because it helps prevent injury, prolongs their cheer career, and increases their potential to do even more advanced tumbling. Prep also includes flexibility, correct jumps, motions, spiriting and some dance. During tryout season, we tailor the program to each school’s tryout. We also host mock tryouts tailored to specific ages and schools.
Our staff is packed with All-American cheerleaders and will also host stunting clinics with some of the best D1 cheer squads in the country.
