L’Rona O’Brien is a mother to three amazing daughters and the younger sister of Coach Kevin. She spent most of her childhood in a power tumbling gym with her brother and two younger sisters. She is a multiple time State Champion and National Championship on trampoline and traveled the world with her family to compete.

In addition to success in power tumbling she cheered for 8 years, starting in junior high and running through college.

She has a degree in deaf Education with a minor in speech pathology and a BS in deaf education. She is a cancer survivor and passionate teacher. L’Rona is the Preschool Director at RISE and pioneered the LEARN to RISE program which is one of the best of its kind anywhere. As a coach L’Rona is technical, driven, fun, disciplined and her love for Jesus translates into a relentless love for athletes and their families. She is certified as a professional coach by United States Gymnastics to coach athletes from beginner to Olympic level.

Her success is based simply on one principal – don’t just tell but show young athletes how loved they are by us and Jesus. The bonus is she is a phenom at teaching gymnastics to little people!
